Ocean transportation charges are calculated per container when using 20 or 40 feet containers (FCL). For LCL shipments, the cost is calculated per cubic meter (M3).
The delivery time varies depending on the distance between the exporting and importing countries. For example, the delivery time from Los Angeles Airport to Narita Airport is usually less than one day.
Here are the general weight and size limits:
For 20 feet containers: length 5,867mm, width 2,352mm, height 2,385mm, maximum payload approximately 28,000kg.
For 40 feet container: length 12,032mm, width 2,352mm, height 2,385mm, maximum payload weight approximately 25,000kg.

The responsibility for obtaining insurance depends on the terms of trade, whether it's the importer or the exporter. If necessary, we can assist in arranging insurance on your behalf.
